Polycom Video Conferencing and Polycom Support

Polycom offers a very strong line of video and audio conferencing products, used extensively by corporations, schools and government entities

ADTECH Systems has offered highly innovative Polycom video conferencing systems for many years, and we are a Polycom Certified Partner for their video and installed audio products.

Our engineers and technicians are factory trained and very experienced working with all of the Polycom video products, including telepresence and infrastructure systems, plus Polycom audio conferencing and digital signal processing (DSP) equipment.

New England based ADTECH Systems provides sales, installation and support for Polycom video conferencing systems.

Since these are sophisticated IP-network based products, our expertise in IP network design and installation is crucial to our ability to integrate and service them.

We can work with you on a design/build basis, where we carefully analyze your needs and budget and design and install your finished system, but we also have strong working relationships with New England’s technology consulting community.

Here’s an example of a Polycom project we worked on recently at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Yale New Haven Hospital

It was much more than a low price that prompted CMS Audiovisual Consultants of New York to choose ADTECH Systems as the integrator for a series of AV and video conferencing rooms at the new Smilow Cancer Center in the Yale Hospital in New Haven, CT.

“Seldom is a group like this looking for the lowest price,” says James Welsh, Director of Integration Services for ADTECH Systems. “They have such high expectations that they prefer to find someone who will be a valuable partner, someone with a unique skill set, who does outstanding work and can help them to manage the rooms after the installation is finished.”

Over the first year of the project ADTECH finished more than ten different AV systems, including a number of conference rooms used for meetings and consultations, an auditorium used for seminars for students and visiting physicians, and a command center set up under emergency preparedness guidelines, all of which include Polycom video conferencing. We have also begun work on infrastructure that will bring bridging and multipoint capabilities to over 100 video endpoints in the hospital.

For these projects, CMS Audiovisual Consultants handled all of the initial needs analysis and developed the design specifications. Working from the CMS design, ADTECH Systems created installation drawings and work flows, and handled all of procurement, installation labor, project management, programming, user training and maintenance and Polycom support service.

We would very much like to be involved with your next Polycom video conferencing project. Please contact us to learn more.
