AdTech is recognized as a world class, multidisciplinary R&D organization (a leader in mechanics of advanced materials, materials application and structural design) with a 15-year legacy of technology developments. AdTech is a growing high-technology company and a long-time prime contractor for the Air Force research laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. AdTech has an immediate need for highly motivated and skilled full-time employees with prior Air Force military background. Candidates must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance. Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Positions available include:

Minimum Education/Experience
Engineer I B.S. degree in engineering or related technical field.
Engineer II B.S. degree in engineering or related technical field and five years of experience. Demonstrated skills and performance
Engineer III B.S. degree in engineering or related technical field and eight years of experience. Works independently to analyze complex problems. Provides functional directions to lower level engineers.
Engineer IV Masters degree in engineering or related technical field. Ten years of experience. Works independently to solve complex technical problems. Directs and supervises lower level engineers.
Administrative I
Secretary/Word Processor I/Office Clerk
High school graduate with one-year typing/word processing training/experience
Administrative II
Secretary/Word Processor/Office Assistant
High school graduate with three years of related experience. Must have initiative and be able to work with minimum supervision
Administrative III
Data Entry Specialist
High school graduate and five years of word processing experience. Provides significant assistance and leadership to the department. Supports staff group leader.
Administrative IV
Automation Administration/Data Entry
Specialist/Graphic Illustrator

High school graduate with formal word processing and graphic design training and eight years of related experience. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently. Also must be capable of setting up, organizing and managing technical seminars or symposiums.
Drafter I High school graduate with successful completion of a general drafting course. Must be able to demonstrate satisfactory skills and good performance
Drafter II High school graduate with one-year course at a technical school or equivalent and two years experience. Must be able to demonstrate skills and good performance.
Drafter III High school graduate with two years additional related training and five years experience. Must be able to demonstrate skills and excellent performance using Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Drafter IV High school graduate with eight years experience or a combination of experience and additional education in drafting. Must have ability to prepare complete sets of complex drawings including design features requiring considerable drafting skills to visualize and portray using Computer Aided Design (CAD).
Designer I High school graduate and a combination of eight years of experience or additional education in drafting/design. Must have ability to prepare Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings of unusual, complex or original designs with a high-degree of precision. Must be capable of preparing computer graphic illustrations using Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and assuming supervisory responsibilities.
Designer II High school graduate and a combination of 10 years of experience or additional education in drafting/design. Must have ability to prepare complex and detailed designs Computer Aided Design (CAD) from rough sketches or ideas with a high degree of precision and complexity. Must be capable of preparing computer graphic illustrations using Computer Aided Engineering (CAE). Some supervisory experience required.
Systems Analyst B.S. degree in computer science or related technical field and progressive experience in solving complex computer problems. Must be able to demonstrate satisfactory skills and good performance in the field.
Senior Systems Analyst B.S. Degree in computer science/computer engineering or related technical field and seven years of progressive experience in solving complex computer problems. Must be able to demonstrate satisfactory skills performance in the field. Must be capable of coordinating the efforts of lower level programmers and systems analysts in solving multiple technical problems simultaneously.
Program Control/Quality Assurance Level I B.S. degree or equivalent training/experience in relevant field. Five years of experience in program control quality assurance.
Program Control/Quality Assurance Level II B.S. degree or combination of eight years of experience and additional training in program control/quality assurance or related field.
Technical Writer I High school graduate and five years experience in writing or editing technical texts/materials. Must be familiar with symbols used in mathematical and chemical equations and specialized vocabulary used in technical reporting.
Technical Writer II B.S. or B.A. degree with course emphasis on writing and science plus ten years experience in writing or editing technical texts. Must be thoroughly knowledgeable with symbols used in mathematical and chemical equations as well as the specialized vocabulary used in technical reporting. Must have worked with PCs and word processing programs.
Technician I(Mechanical, Eletrical, Electronic,
Engineering, or Photo-Optics)
High school graduate and two years additional training or a combination of related experience and education.
Technician II(Mechanical, Eletrical, Electronic, Engineering, or Photo-Optics) High school graduate and four years additional training or a combination of related experience and education.
Technician III(Mechanical, Eletrical, Electronic, Engineering, or Photo-Optics) High school graduate and a combination of six years of related experience and education.
Technician IV(Mechanical, Eletrical, Electronic, Engineering, or Photo-Optics) A.A. or A.S. degree or a combination of eight years of additional training and experience in a related field. Must have technical knowledge to solve complex problems in working with equipment, machinery, or processes.
Maintainance Trade I
(Electrician, Pipe Fitter, Sheet Metal Worker,
Millwright, Carpenter, Plumber, Welder)

High school graduate and completion of a state certified relevant apprenticeship program or equivalent training. Five years of demonstrated relevant trade experience including time in apprenticeship program.
Maintainance Trade II
(Electrician, Pipe Fitter, Sheet Metal Worker,
Millwright, Carpenter, Plumber, Welder)
High school graduate and state certified relevant apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience. Eight years hands-on experience including apprenticeship.
Scientist Ph.D or Masters degree + additional PhD level course work in engineering or related technical field. Ten years of experience. Works independently to solve complex technical problems. Directs and supervises lower level research engineers.
Senior Scientist Ph.D., in Engineering, Mathematics or related technical field and more the ten years experience. Expert in the area of analysis and testing of advanced materials and structures. Must have expert background in applied solid mechanics, experimental mechanics for metallic and composite materials. Must have extensive computational experience including advanced finite element techniques in modeling and analysis of diverse engineering processes and phenomena. Designs and prototypes automatic computer controlled servo-hydraulic multi-axial structural test equipment to meet program requirements.
Chemist Ph.D or Masters degree + additional PhD level course work in Chemistry or related technical field. Five years of experience. Works independently to solve complex technical problems. Directs and supervises lower level research engineers.
Engineering and Technical Data Analyst High school graduate and a combination of six years of related experience and education in configuration/data management. This experience consists of hardware and software configuration management, contract data management, engineering data management, and deficiency report management.
Information Specialist High school graduate or GED equivalent and three (3) years work experience that includes the equivalent of one (1) year experience in word processing, and building and maintaining reports and databases, and one year experience in a DoD (government or contractor) security setting.
Logistics Functional Analysis &
Sustainment Technical Specialists
B.S. degree and a minimum of ten years experience in DoD logistics aircraft management. Is expert at advising acquisition logistics personnel of the results of studies on advances in scientific knowledge and techniques in fields applicable to integrated logistics support (ILS) management techniques and sustainment functions such as item management, production management, depot management, and supply.
Operations & Research Specialists A Bachelor's degree and least three years operations research experience in aeronautical weapon systems acquisition analysis. Uses operations research to determine the balance between benefits and risks of the technology. Must be an expert on strategic planning for technology programs/activities based on at least ten years experience in operations and logistics plans analysis supporting weapons systems acquisition for combat.
Project Managers/Program Analysts B.S. degree and 15 years of acquisition management experience (Government or industry) of which 5 years must be in a government acquisition program as either a program/project manager. Works independently to solve complex technical problems. Directs and supervises the engineering team efforts.
Mechanical Research Engineer Mechanical Research Engineer needed to analyze & design structures made from composites and advance materials. Also uses DYNA3D and NASTRAN. Applicant must have M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 3 months experience or course work in structural analysis and 3D modelling. Use finite analysis and 3D modelling techniques.
